THE ABOMINABLE DR. PHIBES (1971)
The Psychedelic Seventies meet the Roaring Twenties in this gleefully macabre tale of revenge from beyond the grave. Vincent Price plays concert organist-slash-mad genius Dr. Anton Phibes, who unleashes Old Testament wrath on the doctors he blames for the death of his beautiful wife. The bodies pile up as Phibes and his glamorous assistant Vulnavia employ fiendishly complex clockworks, gruesome contraptions, and diabolical traps to dispatch their enemies.
A superb supporting cast including Joseph Cotten, Terry-Thomas, and Hugh Griffith bring the script’s bizarre characters and wry dialogue to life. Colorful and stylized, The Abominable Dr. Phibes serves up an unforgettable Art Deco nightmarescape brimming with chills and humor.

DEMONS (1985)
Welcome to the most life-enriching Italian terror-party of 1985. Produced by Dario Argento (SUSPIRIA) and directed by Lamberto Bava, DEMONS follows a panorama of punks, preppies, and ne’er-do-wells as they get trapped in a movie theater and possessed by gut-shredding Satanic demonoids. Featuring songs by Mötley Crüe and Billy Idol, gloopy effects, and the iconic Geretta Geretta in a lead role, this is the most fun you’ll ever have in a movie theater while watching a movie about beasties on the loose in a movie theater.

THEY LIVE (1988)
“I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass…and I’m all out of bubblegum,” warns L.A. drifter John Nada (wrestling superstar Rowdy Roddy Piper) after discovering a plot to enslave the American masses. Special glasses show him subliminal messages (“Submit!”) that reptilian aliens (disguised as Gordon Gekko-esque yuppies) are transmitting through TV, magazines, billboards, and movies. It’s up to Nada and friend Frank (Keith David) to expose the conspiracy – but not before one of cinema’s longest, greatest fight scenes – in Carpenter’s still-prescient sci-fi satire.
